I find it helpful to have a few different lengths of pants in my closet: short for exercise, medium for daily wear, and long for heels. When I’m doing yoga in bare feet, I don’t want to trip over my pants. So, I have a pair of cotton pants that have a 34.5-inch inseam that are perfect. On a normal day, my shoes have a heel height of 1.5 inches or less, so most of my jeans are a 35-inch inseam. Finally, I have one pair of jeans and one pair of dress pants that I only wear with heels that are 2 inches or higher. For these, I go with a 35.5-inch inseam.
