Review of Old Navy Tall Sizes

My Old Navy Tall Sizes order that I placed on Cyber Monday arrived yesterday!  Here's the scoop:

The Tall Velour Pants in Dark Chocolate are comfy, fit me well, and are keepers.  They are advertised as a 36" inseam, but they seemed shorter than that.  Fine by me, since I have a 35" inseam and thought these might be too long.  Since I was curious, I took out my measuring tape, and found them to actually have an inseam of 35.25".  Perfect for me, but if you need a true 36" inseam, don't get these.  The other thing worth noting is that these fit me well in the butt and tummy.  I was worried about that, since there is no drawstring.

The Tall Rib-Knit Turtleneck Sweater in Green is fitted and cute.  It's a staple.  The sleeves are long enough, and the body is perfect for my longer torso.  I'm keeping it.  My only complaint is that the armpits need to start up higher.  Does that make sense?  They're not super fitted.  So when I lift my arms, there's all this extra fabric that should just hug my armpits instead of forming wings.  Still, I love the color and the fit otherwise.

The Tall Cowl-Neck Sweater is not a keeper.  The sleeves aren't quite long enough, the body is a little short, and I just didn't like the overall look.  The pocket in front makes the sweater more casual and adds a thin layer of bulk where I don't want it.  I wasn't crazy about the Gentle Fawn color, either.  I'm taking this one back to the store tomorrow.  Returns are free. :)

Lastly, I bought the Tall Boatneck Tee in Monaco Plum.  It was a little more snug that I thought it would be, and I noticed three dots of something stained on the arm.  So, I'm returning this as well.  All in all, I'm 50/50 on the order.  Not bad for trying the new Tall Sizes at for the first time.
